The composition mirrors the visual acuity percentages I had in each eye when the tumor affected my sight. The world appeared divided yet flooded with light and color.

A gradient from red to violet references the visible spectrum, while the grid filters the passage of light. Limitations in perception become a structure through which color continues to flow.
